The refusal to acknowledge the differences that Allah created in the universe such as gender differences, contradicts the sacred revealed truths. This also effect the foundation of family and society.

Differences are acknowledged as blessings in Islam. However, the confusions that arose today had occured as a result of the demand for a false notion of equality. This opposed to appreciating the natural diversity that God has created.

Islam has provided spiritual, intellectual, economic and social rights equal to for women, if not more than men. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ took numerous concrete measures to profoundly improve the status and role of women during his time.

‘Umar b. al-Khattab mentioned, “In Jahiliyyah, we used to have no regard for women whatsoever. But when Islam came and Allah made mention of them, this caused us to realize that they have rights upon us.”
