Ustaz Muhammad Faizuddin bin Fauzan

Historically, it made sense for Muslim scholars and the Islamic scholastic tradition to preserve and codify the prosopography of the best of mankind, ﷺ. In fact, the Seerah of Muhammad ﷺ was the amongst earliest Islamic science to ever be drafted between two covers. The impending need to record the memoir of the Messenger stems out the necessity to preserve the eminent history of Muhammad out of love for him.

Enlightened scholars opined that compared to other Islamic sciences, learning the Seerah produces the most rapid effect on a believer’s iman and additionally fills the heart with the love of our prophet and an imminent yearning to follow his sunnah.

In an effort to showcase our affinity towards our Prophet ﷺ and to emulate the sunnah, this Session aspires to retrace the footsteps of the paragon of purity.

“Say, (Oh Prophet), ‘If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful’.”
– [Ali ‘Imran: 21]
