Overview

As for those who believe, do good, and have faith in what has been revealed to Muḥammad — which is the truth from their Master — He will absolve them of their sins and improve their condition.
– [Surah Muhammad, Ayat 2]

The study of Hadith sprouted through organic means of narration and inquisition, beginning from the time of The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions. The methodology of the companions formed the basis for later scholars of Hadith to codify sciences based on the principles and examples left behind.

The contemporaries of the earliest students of Hadith expanded the scope of Hadith studies, adding greater depth and detail to discussions on narrations. Written works on various aspects of Hadith studies gained prominence, eventually leading to the pinnacle of innovation in Hadith sciences. The consolidation of the best works during this era have been, almost unanimously, adopted as benchmarks in modern Hadith discourse.

Today, we witness discussions that question the relevance of Hadith in crucial matters of the religion. The current state of affairs serves as a call to all Hadith enthusiasts, to prove the timeless nature of Hadith and its related sciences.

Join us as we travel through time to extract gems from the people of Hadith, hoping to emulate their love for The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
