Ustaz Nuzulul Qadar

In the early stages of the codification of Hadith sciences, Hadith scholars prioritised the maxims and principles for narrative authentication. It was deemed necessary as a means to protect and preserve the veracity of the Prophetic narrations from the threats of fabrication.

As time passes by, the shift from narrative authentication to textual authentication became much more evident. Previously, fabricating the words of the Prophet ﷺ was the main threat, but nowadays, preserving the textual integrity of the Hadith is given similar attention and maybe more due to the threats of secularism and liberalism.

This series aims to provide a much needed insight into the importance of understanding the Hadith textual criticism movement and how do we apply it in light of the insufferable ‘modern’ worldview.

Instructor will be using his own slides for the sessions.
