Hani' the freed slave of 'Uthman said, “When 'Uthman would stop at a grave he would cry until his beard was soaked (in tears). It was said to him: “The Paradise and the Fire were mentioned and you did not cry, yet you cry because of this?” So he said, “Indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed the grave is the first stage among the stages of the Hereafter. So if one is saved from it, then what comes after it is easier than it. And if one is not saved from it, then what comes after it is worse than it.” – Tirmizi

The day of judgement is an imperative concept in Islam. It is in fact a pillar of the six pillars of faith. Belief in the afterlife grounds a person and provides clarity in his true purpose of life. But what do we know concerning the afterlife? What happens in the grave? What should we do know in order to be saved from the tribulations of the grave? Join us as we discuss the affairs and sequences of the afterlife.

• Death to Mahsyar: The Sequence
• Practical deeds to protect us from tribulations of the Afterlife
