This season of Sessions is exclusively for ladies.

Muslim women find themselves in between a tug of war, with two contrasting ideologies seeking to pull them to their side. On one end, there is a call towards reclaiming some sense of liberation, hoping to eradicate gender-based discrimination, at times, even at the expense of the religion. The other end of this spectrum claims that they want to protect the existing structure of society, to preserve what is perceived to be traditional values and virtues. Well, let’s run away from the tug of war. We need some space to seek truth through thought.

We need to know, who are Muslim women? What are the qualities of Muslim women that make them so special? And how do Muslim women today live their lives, seeking to emulate the best women of all time?

Muslim women have left behind a legacy of servitude that elevates truth above all else. They have established a sense of purpose for themselves, forged a lasting commitment towards the betterment of society, all while striving towards spiritual excellence. One pioneer from amongst them in this Muhammadan era, is none other than The Mother of The Believers, ‘Aishah. She, is just one of many examples.
