One important detail concerning the character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is that, he was as beautiful and powerful internally, as he was externally. His speech, conduct and mannerisms were impactful and mesmerising but as impressive, was that which were unseen: his internal fortitude and emotional strength.
One who reads the seerah realizes that it is not merely a depiction of da’wah and wars, but a story of human emotions and feelings. What makes the hero of this story so exemplary and noble is not that he was invincible, but because he was emotionally honest. We see in seerah pain, tears, laughter and joy.
Muslims want what everyone wants: to be happy. So we search for happiness everywhere, not realising that Islam already gave us all the key ingredients. And by the grace of Allah, He has willed for that there is an impeccable model and blueprint to follow: the Seerah and Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
