Synopsis
In the Quran, a striking verse mentions the Messenger’s complaint to Allah of those who abandon the Quran: “And the Messenger has said, “O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Quran as [a thing] abandoned.” – [Al-Furqan:30]
Allah also highlights the importance of community building: “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided…” [Ali ‘Imran:103]. This verse isn’t just a call for unity, it is a divine guidance on the power of community in sustaining our connection with the Quran and through the Quran.
The 30th Juz of the Quran, Juz Amma, consists of 37 short surahs. Most of these surahs are memorized by Muslims and read often in the daily prayers. This course hopes to bring the community to the next level: familiarity and understanding.
In this 31-week course, understand the deeper meanings of the verses of the surahs and unlock ways for better relatability and application in our lives, while cultivating the culture of Quranic learning and literacy. The last Juz, also known as the summary of the Quran, is the perfect starting point for those who wish to reinvigorate their relationship with the book of Allah.
